Greetings Community Members, 

This is Ben, the Director of Development for the not-for-profit theater company SpeakEasy Stage, located in the South End of Boston. Our annual Gala fundraiser approaches on April 10th, 2025, and my hope is that you will consider donating an item to our silent auction! 

This year has been an incredibly special year for SpeakEasy Stage, and we will take great pride in honoring Paul Daigneault, founder and artistic director of SpeakEasy, at our Gala this year. Paul is the heart of SpeakEasy and while he will be missed in his departure, we look to the future and our mission to continue propelling SpeakEasy into the future while honoring its past. We will also honor our Thomas Derrah Emerging Artists, a group of emerging professionals whose work has impacted our season. These recipients will be announced closer to the Gala date. 

The gala and the auction raise significant funds to allow us to produce the bold theater we are known for in the city, and keep that work accessible to all. Please consider joining our efforts as a silent auction sponsor! Auction donors will (of course) have their item displayed in their respective auction packages and be listed as a donor in the Gala program.
