New store offers traditional barbershop experience for men of all ages
Boston, MA (April 9, 2014) - When Roosters Men's Grooming Center (MGC) opened today for business at 518 Tremont Street in Boston, the store's owner Tyson White and store manager Steve Spinale felt a special connection to their grandfathers who were barbers.
It was Roosters MGC that helped White and Spinale, though not related, discover that they share similar family backgrounds. This classic American barbershop, which combines the latest in hair care services for men and boys, also helped to connect the store's owner and manager.
White, a resident of Boston's South End, was seeking a business opportunity that isn't dependent on changes in technology, among other criteria. His search led him to Roosters MGC, in an industry that had served their family in past generations.
While White was conducting his research, Spinale, a licensed instructor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, was teaching at the New England Hair Academy.
"I've hired some of our best graduates," said Spinale, who has more than 40 years' experience in the barber industry. "I learned the business from my grandfather who owned a barbershop in the Copley Square Hotel."
White was also referred to Spinale for hiring recommendations.
When White learned that Spinale was not only a master barber and instructor but had several years' experience in marketing and sales, he hired him as the store's manager.
