Halloween Concert with Little Groove

Come and join Little Groove as they host a spooktacular Halloween concert in the South End Library Park! Show off your best Halloween costume and let’s party together with lots of singing and dancing. Preschoolers, caretakers, and classes are all welcome!
Little Groove is the top voted music class for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Boston. The classes are tailor-made to help your little ones learn and interact through sound, sight, and touch in an immersive and engaging live music setting. Children use real instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines, giving them a hands-on experience and fostering a love for music.

Author Series
After many years of South End Writes, FOSEL is beginning the South End Library Author Series with a reach beyond the South End and Boston to entice our friends and neighbors to experience acclaimed authors, their books, and the conversations they generate.
Come enjoy a stimulating evening connecting with acclaimed authors whose work will range across multiple genres and geographies! It’s also a great time to connect with friends and neighbors! After the talk and Q&A discussion, take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the showcased book(s), enjoy the signing, and appreciate delicious appetizers, wine or soft drinks with other readers from the South End.
Our fall series of three sessions which will be held at the Union Church at 485 Columbus Ave, at 7pm on October 15 in the Sanctuary, October 23 in the Connection Room, and October 30 also in the Connection Room. Both rooms are accessible. Each event will also be available by Zoom for those who are unable to come in person and enjoy the comradery of these events.
Parkside Books, our new neighborhood bookstore at 260 Shawmut Ave, will be on site to sell the books and it will be a good moment to connect with them as well. https://www.parksidebookshop.com
