Around the Corner Frames

Around the Corner Frames is owned and operated by Amanda Accardi.

Inspired and nurtured by her undergraduate studies in the painting department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Amanda opened her custom framing shop Around the Corner in 2009.

Dedicated to creativity in the framing industry, Around the Corner Frames offers the largest selection of mouldings and museum quality materials in Boston. This allows Amanda and her team to work with every artist, designer and neighbor to make projects or objects, large or small, fit perfectly into any vision. Around the Corner is a proud sponsor of many local non- profit organizations such as the Massachusetts College of Art and Design Annual Auction, Boston Ballet, Generations Incorporated, and United South End Settlements, to name a few.

Amanda also enjoys working with galleries and designers on in home and corporate projects. Consultations, curating and installation have become integral parts of Around the Corner's full service standards. After joining the South End Business Alliance in 2010 Amanda became an active participant in meetings between SEBA and Washington Gateway Main Streets. These meetings include many South End retail business owners to coordinate such events as the South End Sidewalk Sale and annual Holiday Stroll. Amanda became a member of SEBA's board of directors in 2014. Amanda is also a member of the Boston Cyclists Union and enjoys her daily ride from Jamaica Plain on the Southwest Corridor bike path.
